
American actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen, born on 16 February 1989 is Elizabeth Chase Olsen. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She started acting at four years old. After appearing in Martha Marcy May Marlene's crime film, Olsen received praise and was nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Award. The film was later followed by Silent House. Olsen received a nomination from the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2011. She was awarded the award two years later at New York University. Olsen gained worldwide recognition for her performance as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise, appearing in the superhero films Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) as well as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), in addition to the mini-series WandaVision (2021). She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as well as receiving a Golden Globe Award for her performance in WandaVision. She was the executive producer of and played in the film Sorry for Your Loss (2018-19), getting a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination.
