Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist is an author. She was the founder of The Huffington Post and the director of Thrive Global. Author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington, an independent liberal news website and a television host, author, and charitable donor. Her birthplace was Greece she was able to move to England at the age of 16 and was able to graduate from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The well-known debating club The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it when she was 21. When she graduated, she made her mark as columnist in the conservative syndicated media as well as with the introduction of The Huffington Post' few years later, she developed an online voice platform that provided critical views about the current political climate. In part, her fame helped in attracting several famous contributors. Arianna was first noticed in 2003 as she stood in the California recall election to succeed Governor Davis. Alongside that, she was also the leader of an initiative in Detroit campaign to encourage fuel-efficient vehicles. Forbes placed her at 12 on its list for the Most influential women in the media. Guardian also included the Huffington Post on their top 100 list in 2010. AOL bought The Huffington Post from AOL in 2011. In 2012, she became the president of the media division at AOL. It included a number of AOL owned properties like Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter of Konstantinos a management advisor and a journalist. Though she was close with her father, it was the relationship she shared with her mother that formed her life. Even during her formative times, she demonstrated abilities to lead, and for this her name is still well-known. She moved to England at sixteen to further her studies and was enrolled into Girton College Cambridge. In her college years she was a member of Cambridge Union. Cambridge Union debating group where she rose to become the first woman president, and also the only president from outside the country. In 1972 she graduated with the degree of master's in Economics. After her graduation, she was a columnist-critic and a host on TV. She was a guest on Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she started writing her own novels with his aid.
