Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother is of Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' previous marriages. The family is originally from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle and she did not learn English and was hoping to go again to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in productions. At the age of 16, she quit college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
